How long does it take to groom my pet?
Each spa treatment takes between one to two hours, depending on the size of your pet and the package you have selected. We want to make sure your pet feels as relaxed and pampered as possible.
Do you provide services during weekends?
Yes. Our normal hours are Monday-Saturday from 7am to 7pm by appointment only. We always make every effort to groom your pet when it best suits your schedule, but our Saturday appointments go pretty quickly, so we encourage pet parents to plan ahead. Remember—we are here to accommodate your lifestyle and make meeting your pet’s needs easy and stress-free.
Do I have to be home for you to groom my pet?
No, you do not have to be home for regularly scheduled appointments. However, your presence is required for the first session. If you will not be home, please make arrangements beforehand. We will need access to your pet and also be able to safely return them to their quarters. In addition, payment must be made in advance or left onsite.
Do you need access to an outdoor water supply or electrical outlets at my house?
No, our mobile pet grooming spa is fully equipped with everything we need and is self-sufficient. This includes heated water, a climate controlled interior, power generated by a 'greener' energy and state-of-the-art equipment.
How many pets do you groom at a given time?
We groom only one pet at a time. This enables us to provide your dog or cat with our undivided attention, making his grooming experience as pleasant as possible.
For families with multiple pets, we are able to take siblings together into the salon so they can keep each other company.
How much do you charge?
This service is comprehensive with 15-20 steps and the highlights include:
- Health assessment
- Avery's signature Hydro-Massage spa bath
- Hand blow and fluff drying
- Nail trim
- Paw pad trim
- Ear cleaning and/or plucking
- Sanitary trim
- Gland expression
- Haircut per your specifications
- Thorough brush out and/or de-shedding treatment
- Expert Hand Scissoring and Hand Stripping services available upon request
Do you charge a separate travel fee, in addition to grooming charges?
Our prices include a small travel fee for transportation expenses. Fees vary depending on your location. If you and your neighbors decide to groom your pets on the same day, we will split the travel costs between you, so everyone pays less. What types of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, check, Visa and Master Card. Checks can be made payable to: Avery’s Pet Styling. Payment is due upon completion of your appointment. If you are not physically present after the grooming session to remit payment, you have the option of paying online at www.averyspetstyle.com.
How far in advance do I need to book my appointment?
Because our service is highly personalized, we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance. However, special arrangements can be made if you need our services sooner than that. Simply call to discuss your needs! If you join our free, Preferred Client Program, you will receive priority booking, ensuring that your pet never misses a haircut again.
